I'm 6'8", and for most of my life, finding a beach towel or beach gear that actually fit me was nearly impossible.

Too short. Too small. Too much towel left behind when I wanted to stretch out.

My frustration with beach gear and towels did not prevent me from falling in love with the ocean but brought me the opportunity to change how I experienced it.

The ocean has been part of my life for over 30 years.

From long days on the coast to time spent out at sea, the ocean has always been where I feel most at home. It's where i've spent some of my best days, and it's given me a lifelong appreciation for the people, places, and communities that depend on it.

Eventually, I realized there was an opportunity to create something better.

Beach gear designed for people who need more room, but built with the same attention to quality and performance that I expect from the gear i use around the water.

That's where Elevated Beach Co. Began.

We started with one simple idea:

Beach gear should be designed for more people, not just the average sized person.

Our first product is a beach towel designed with taller frames in mind, combining extra length with lightweight, fast drying performance.

But the towel is only the beginning.

We're building Elevated Beach Co. around one simple philosophy:

Make better gear. Spend more time outside. Leave the places we love better than we found them.

The ocean has given me a lot over the years. As an Ocean Lifeguard I know first hand how important lifeguards are to the communities we love.

So I wanted giving back to be part of EBC from the beginning. Not something added later because it looks good..

5% of all profits will support lifeguard initiatives and ocean conservation.

Our goal is to support the people who protect us in the water and the organizations working to protect the water itself. That means supporting initiatives focused on things like:

Lifeguard Initiatives: Supporting lifeguard programs, water safety, training, equipment, and the communities that keep people safe around the water.

Ocean Conservation: Supporting efforts that protect our oceans, beaches, and marine environments for the next generation.

As EBC grows so will our impact.

We're also working to make the best choices about the materials that go into our products.

Our towels are made using certified recycled materials from day one, giving existing materials another life while maintaining the lightweight, quick drying, and performance we want from EBC.

We're are not interested in calling something sustainable just because it sounds good. We sourced the best material, making sure every part of the towel is recycled material.

We'd rather make measurable improvements and keep getting better.
